Our dental team is dedicated to offering top-tier removable dentures to both new and existing patients who have experienced tooth loss, whether partial or complete. These dentures are meticulously crafted to fit each patient’s mouth and address their specific tooth replacement needs, providing both aesthetic enhancement and functional restoration.
Crafting the dentures involves a detailed process. We begin by taking a series of impressions of the patient’s jaw, teeth, and gums, along with precise measurements. These impressions and measurements guide the creation of a custom model, which is refined, tested, and adjusted until the color, shape, and fit of the denture align perfectly with the patient’s unique requirements. Once the model is finalized, it is sent to the dental lab where the permanent denture is expertly cast. Upon completion, the patient receives the permanent denture, and any necessary minor adjustments are made to ensure optimal comfort and fit.
There are two primary types of dentures available: Conventional Full Dentures and Partial Dentures, each tailored to address different tooth replacement needs.
Conventional Full Dentures are an ideal solution for patients in need of a complete replacement for either their upper or lower teeth. Following the complete healing of the gums post-extraction, impressions and measurements of the jaws and gums are taken to create a custom model for the denture. Once crafted, the denture is carefully fitted to the patient’s mouth, with adjustments made as needed for a secure and comfortable fit.
Partial Dentures, also known as Dental Bridges, serve as replacements for one or more missing teeth. In addition to enhancing aesthetics, bridges help prevent adjacent teeth from shifting or rotating into the empty spaces left by tooth loss. A standard bridge involves placing crowns on the teeth surrounding the gap and attaching a replacement tooth to those crowns, matching the natural teeth for a seamless smile.
Regular follow-up appointments are essential for maintaining optimal denture fit and comfort. Over time, adjustments may be necessary to ensure proper fit and function. Dentures should be cleaned regularly using a soft-bristle toothbrush and non-abrasive cleanser to prevent plaque buildup. Generally, dentures should be replaced every 5-10 years, and patients are encouraged to consult with our doctor to determine if their dentures require refitting or replacement.
